On 24 February 2022, the Development Governance Institute (DEGI), Dialogue on Shelter and the Zimbabwe Homeless People’s Federation convened a policy seminar on the Inclusive Urban Infrastructure (IUI) project in Harare. The seminar was held under the theme ‘Enhancing understanding of emergent settlements, effective policy making and implementation for equitable and sustainable settlements’. This presentation by Kudzai Chatiza (Director at DEGI) and George Masimba (Director of Programmes at Dialogue on Shelter) highlights the preliminary findings of the research conducted in Zimbabwe.
